Placing Your Blog In A Folder
When deciding to build a new website with an included blog, it’s a good idea to think more down the line then in the here and now, especially with where you place your blog on the site. Many people default into placing their blog on the root directory of their domain. This may work for a site that is solely a blog and will never be anything more, but what if you decide that you want to move forward with that domain and make it a full site? The process of moving a blog to a folder can make things very tricky and require you to put in a lot more work than is necessary if you simply think the process through from the beginning.
The Power Of The More Tag - Wordpress Blogs
The MORE tag is a great way to split up your blog posts. Instead of seeing all 3,000 words you’ve written on your main page, you can actually split it up so the user has to go into the individual post page to actually read the entire entry. There are plenty of advantages of using the more tag, and below are a few of them:
The Good Side Of Reciprocal Link Building

Understanding The Benefit Of Link Directories
It’s understandable that when individuals first learn about the power of link building in SEO, they default to directory submissions. While there are some good directories out there that you can benefit a great deal from, there are plenty of junky ones that will either hurt you or provide you with no effect at all. But how can a directory not be beneficial, you ask? Simple, if the directory is full of ads or crashes, you’ve now got what appears to be a spammy or dead site linking directly to you which Google will count against you. Too many of these spammy or dead links and you’ll find yourself delisted.

If you’ve ever abandoned a social bookmarking campaign due to the monotony and time consuming nature of the beast, you’re in luck. A new and free service has just been launched called Post Toaster.
Benefits Of NoFollow Links
The original purpose of the nofollow tag was to limit spam. Apparently, Google underestimated just how dedicated spammers are, because it didn’t limit their attempts at all. The tag itself is consider to be a way to link to a site without providing them any link juice or between internal pages to keep the link juice from flowing to unneeded pages (ToS and the like). But many SEO’s and webmasters will tell you that nofollow links are completely useless when trying to build up your site, and the truth of the matter is, that’s completely false.
Biggest Downfall Of Amateur SEO
Stop reading and start doing.
One of the biggest downfalls of an amateur SEO is that they never make it off the ground, or if they do they doubt themselves the entire way. When getting into this field, the first instinct is to read up on all of the authority sites. While this is a great idea to do as you go along, there is no better way to get started then to just try.
