Call it whatever you like: PageRank Hording, PageRank Siloing, or it’s latest name, PageRank Sculpting. The truth of the matter is, it’s all the same thing. Benefits Of NoFollow Links

The original purpose of the nofollow tag was to limit spam. Apparently, Google underestimated just how dedicated spammers are, because it didn’t limit their attempts at all. The tag itself is consider to be a way to link to a site without providing them any link juice or between internal pages to keep the link juice from flowing to unneeded pages (ToS and the like). But many SEO’s and webmasters will tell you that nofollow links are completely useless when trying to build up your site, and the truth of the matter is, that’s completely false.

Is Google Making webmasters face-off against each other?

This year has been a little crazy for the webmaster community with out of order PR updates and also the new feature that Google rolled out that will allow people to identify who sells links on their site to Google……yeah, I said it, you can now pretty much destroy your competition! This new feature that Google pulled has had the webmaster community up in a roar because why does Google get to say how we make our money, right? If we have created a great site and would like to monetize it with some paid links, then why does google have to say that it is not ok. They have just given the power into the hands of people that can systematically destroy each other until the other wins!
