Be careful with keyword stuffing
Any webmaster can tell you that content is king and really the key to success online. You have to be able to create a website that has a lot of content along with good structure. There has always been a lot of talk about how keyword stuffing may affect your website and its rankings. If you are not familiar with the term “keyword stuffing”, then it is pretty simple to explain. It pretty much matches what it says in regards to someone putting in multiple keywords throughout the content on a given page. The key factor in it is that the keywords actually show up more than any other words on the page. Most search engines are wise to this form of SERP manipulation, yet people still try to do it. The thing is that when you do it, it doesn’t even look right to the reader. Most can tell that you have stuffed certain keywords into the text and it just doesn’t look good.
I have recently come across a few people that think the stuffing keywords will not hurt your site. They claim that they did a few experiments and found out that is has done nothing to their rankings. Later to find out that they only stuffed keywords into certain meta tags and not into the actual content on the page. Well, you will not get penalized for having multiple keywords in your meta tags because search engines do not weight those as much as they used to. The real experiment comes when someone stuffs keywords into their page content. They will see that is is unacceptable in the search engines eyes and they will be penalized. If you are thinking about stuffing keywords into your content, then why don’t you rethink it and try something that is a little more ethical!
